Honor Society
So today I heard the announcement on the loudspeaker I’ve been waiting for, for some time now. The first honor society meeting is going to be held tomorrow to discuss the elections. Now as melodramatic as this sounds, I’ve wanted to be the National Honor Society president ever since my freshmen year of high school. I don’t know exactly what sparked this desire that then became a need and now is one of my biggest priorities but I do know that it’s goals like these that help build up something bigger than myself; my character. Again sounds dramatic but ultimatley being the president of what I believe to be one of the most prestigous organizations in my school would be that one step closer to my longing to spread a message, one that I’ve been trying to spread since that freshmen year; we all need to work together and honor all the strengths of our peers because collaboration is much more important than competition. So if anyone from Mt. Sinai High is reading this remember I’m Sabrina Spotorno and I want to be your honor society president.
